We are a non-profit organization that wants to help our children grow strong and healthy by controlling and preventing childhood obesity.

In the United States about 15.5 percent of adolescents (ages 12 to 19) and 15.3 percent of children (ages 6 to 11) are obese.

A study released from the University of Michigan shows that Michigan children are heavier than children from the rest of the nation. In addition, Michigan has a larger number of children who are overweight and obese. Thirty-three percent of Michigan girls and 34 percent of Michigan boys are classified as overweight. Eighteen percent of girls between the ages of 12-18 and 19 percent of boys between the ages of 12-19 were evaluated as obese.

Our goals are:
Teach children the proper way of eating and being conscience of what and how much they eat so they’ll make wise choices in their food selection now and as adults. Provide instructions on how to prepare food in a healthy but tasteful manner. Help them to understand the importance of not seating in their seat but to get up and move their feet. They need to be physically active on a regular basis.
